Janice has spent more than 30 years working in the private, not-for-profit, government and education sectors in areas such as administration, human resources, training and development, customer loyalty, business process design and project management. Having finished her pre-consulting career as a vice president for a very large non-profit organization, she has seen first hand some of the challenges of dealing with boards and will outline her experiences and suggestions in this chapter.
