When you make movies, it’s always fun to share them with others. You can burn DVDs of your movies and other digital data without leaving Media Center. You have two ways to burn a DVD: as a video DVD and as a data DVD.

With video DVDs, Media Center converts the video files you select to a video format recognized by standard DVD players for easy playback. You can usually play these video DVDs on your computer, too.

With data DVDs, nothing is converted—files are merely copied from your computer to your DVD, so the original format stays intact. Data DVDs can store a lot of files, but because there is no conversion involved, some ...
