After thanking the speaker for their thoughts, where will you take the conversation now that it’s time for you to respond?
Remember that the purpose of a Curious Conversation is for you to learn something new to better understand, value, and/or respect the speaker. The purpose is to bridge the gap and to move your collaborative work and relationship forward. How you respond in this moment depends on how much they emptied from their cup, where the conversation landed before your eight seconds of silence, and what, if anything, is being asked of you.
