Claire barges into our coworking space one afternoon, pulls her laptop out of her purse, and throws it on the couch. “One of you needs to sit by me as I send this email ’cause I’m done! They don’t get it. They’ll never get it. I guess I have to spell it out for them, one last time.” Her face is pinched in anger, and she definitely doesn’t look like the beautiful Claire we have come to adore.
Katie smirks, “In an email, huh? Yea. That seems . . . smart. Maybe a text message with emojis would be better.”
“Shut up!” Claire shoots back, sits on the couch, and opens her laptop.
