Taking care of yourself

Being mindful and bringing mindfulness into our lives is also about bringing kindness and care into it. We cannot begin to shift our approach to life and ourselves with mindfulness if we ignore how harsh and judgemental we are about what we look like, how we behave and what we feel. We are sometimes nothing short of brutal towards ourselves when we make a mistake, fail an exam, aren’t successful in an interview, a relationship falters or we are struggling.
