The TV programme Dragons’ Den is, for those who may not have seen it, an opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of millionaire entrepreneurs in the hope of gaining investment. Like most ‘reality TV’ shows, the true entertainment value lies in the fact that every week, two or three of the pitches will be absolutely, hilariously, disastrous.
