PowerPoint is regarded as a critical and brilliant tool by many presenters. Yet opinion about it is polarised â I regard it as a brilliantly useful tool that can focus thinking and enable you to produce, at least, easy-to-assimilate handouts and, at best, swinging slides. Even so, itâs just a tool. This chapter is more about process than anything else. But do remember that if you want the best from your career-shaping presentation then create a relationship with a professional slide designer and marvel at the difference you get between, as it were, your fast food and their cordon bleu cooking.
