One of the most frustrating issues, from a candidate’s point of view, is that the results of aptitude tests are not often given back to you. Obviously the employer is obliged to treat results responsibly, but giving test information back is time consuming. Often the only way that you know if you did well or not is by whether you are offered the job or move on to the next stage of selection. Individual recruitment consultants, who administer tests or employ occupational psychologists to do so, may be more able to give you feedback, but otherwise you are left somewhat in the dark.
