1. Brian Walker was named president and CEO of Herman Miller, Inc., in July 2004. He had served as COO, CFO, and president of Herman Miller North America, overseeing the company’s core business operations for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He also held various financial management positions in Herman Miller’s international operations. Brian was instrumental in the adoption of the Economic Value Added (EVA) financial and performance metric at Herman Miller. He has also strengthened the company’s commitment to design and operational excellence. Brian serves on various for-profit and nonprofit boards of directors.
