Compensation and Performance Appraisal
Compensation and performance appraisal are two of the most talked-about aspects of corporate life. Unfortunately, most of the talk is negative. Neither compensation nor appraisal, as they are usually administered, brings out the best in people.
Entire books have been written about both subjects, a number of prominent firms specialize in compensation consulting, and myriad training programs have been developed to train managers to design and conduct effective performance appraisals.
