Who actually reads a book about broadcast announcing? Broadcast Announcing Worktext was written with two main groups of readers in mind. First, it was written as a text for students in a course in the broadcast performance area. These beginning students are probably getting their first experience as broadcast performers; in fact, they’ve probably not done any type of performance beyond a classroom speech or presentation.
