The Audio Studio Environment

2.1 Introduction

As a broadcast performer, how much actual equipment operation you’ll be required to do will vary widely. A television news anchor may never do more than clip on a microphone and read the script from a TelePrompTer while the other television equipment is operated by a crew behind the scenes. However, in most instances, a radio announcer will be required to operate all the equipment in the audio studio while he or she is announcing.
