This chapter and Chapter 21 focus on the important and complex issue of ethics, one of the cornerstones of good journalism. You have read earlier about some of the other cornerstones of journalism: accuracy, fairness, and objectivity and all of these characteristics are also among the major ethical requirements for those who practice good journalism.
