1. Look after the top 20 per cent of your customers.
In most businesses, 80 per cent of revenue comes from the top 20 per cent of their clients. Find ways to give clients extras in order to keep and grow their patronage.
Identify any task you are currently performing that can be done by another member of your staff and give him or her the job. Remember to reward him or her for doing good work. If you do not have any employees, see if you can get somebody to come in for a few hours or once a week on a contract basis, in order to complete simple work that is distracting you from more important tasks.
