This unit will help you to understand how to make effective use of a wide variety of information used by engineers, including written text (such as specifications and instructions), charts and diagrams (such as flow charts, exploded views and block schematics), and drawings (such as detail and general arrangement drawings). You need to be able to extract relevant information from these sources and be able to use it to solve real engineering problems.
