Lots of people around the world use WordPress and love making themes for it. Best of all, lots of those fine folks want to share their themes with everyone, for free. Thanks to this virtual cornucopia of themes, chances are that you can find a WordPress theme that matches what you want your blog to look like. But what if you want to change something about a stock theme to make it a little closer to perfection (at least, to your idea of perfection)?
In this chapter, I give you the lowdown on customizing a stock theme to make it your own. This chapter won’t teach you how to create a theme from scratch, but it’ll give you enough know-how to tinker with existing themes.
