Summary

In this chapter, we set up Unreal and Visual Studio and created a new project. Additionally, we learned how to create new actor classes in C++, what a Blueprint is, and how to create and use Blueprint graphs for visual scripting. Finally, we learned how to import custom data from spreadsheet applications and query them from the game code.

In the next chapter, we'll start diving into some actual gameplay code and start prototyping our game.
