Case studies of academic libraries and social media networking


The experiences of nine academic libraries in Canada and the United States with social media networking are detailed, as well as the survey response of one library that chose to forgo any social media networking involvement. The rationale behind the implementation and maintenance of social media presence is covered. An analysis of and lists of recommendations arising from the survey responses are included.
