25. Test the Task in Azure Data Factory

In the previous chapter, we provisioned an Azure SQL Database, an Azure Data Factory, a storage account and deployment container, and an Azure-SSIS integration runtime. In this chapter, we test Execute Catalog Package Task functionality in Azure Data Factory by

  • Deploying TestSSISProject to the SSIS Catalog hosted on the Azure SQL DB provisioned in the previous chapter

  • Deploying the ECPTFramework SSIS project

  • Lifting and shifting framework metadata to an Azure SQL DB (not SSISDB)

  • Deploying the ECPTFramework SSIS project

  • Testing
