Slicers and timelines options

We've already seen how slicers and timelines provide interactivity to pivot tables. Let's spend a little more time on slicers and timelines. We can change them visually, which enables them to fit into tight spaces and/or become more visually efficient and appealing.

Slicer orientation

The two slicers that we've created so far are vertical slicers, that is, the selections are oriented up and down. Depending on how a dashboard is laid out, it may make sense to reduce the height and increase the width of the slicer visual/tile.
