The Amber Oil Company

Amber Oil Company (AOC) has been in business for a number of years. AOC is a full service oil and gas explorer, pipeline, refinery, and distribution company. AOC explores for oil, mostly off shore. Upon discovering oil, the oil is shipped by pipeline to the storage facilities at one of several refineries. At the refinery, the crude is separated, refined, and turned into one of several oil products. Of course, the product that is most common is gasoline. But there are other byproducts of crude oil, as well.

Once converted, the gasoline is then stored and shipped to a network of filling stations. At the filling station, gasoline is sold to the consumer.

AOC, then, is both an upstream and downstream oil and gas producer.
