The tables into which the unstructured data will be stored should be reviewed before building the unstructured data warehouse. The sorts of questions that need to be reviewed include:
· Can the volume of data be accommodated?
· Will the type of data being entered into the unstructured data warehouse fit the types of indexes that are being planned?
· How will the different tables of data relate to each other?
· How easy (or difficult) will it be to query the tables that are being created?
There are many different ways that unstructured data can be structured. The analyst/designer needs to make sure that the tables that are planned will meet the needs of most queries.
