2. Flow of Events

2.1. Basic Flow

The online customer uses a standard HTML 3.2–capable Web browser to load the RosesAlive! home page on the Internet. The customer decides to examine the store's product selection.

The customer selects the Search Catalog link on the main RosesAlive! Web page. The system returns with a search form and instructions on how the search process works.

The customer reviews the instructions and enters in search criteria, which include keyword searches in variety names and descriptions. The customer also has the option of limiting the number of search results returned. The default number of returned items is ten. The customer enters in the search criteria and submits the query to the system.
