Guidelines for Web Application Design

The art of design, regardless of how we strive to automate it, will always contain situations that require the designer to make decisions on the basis of "gut" feelings. These decisions may have compelling arguments for every possible choice. In the end, it is the choices that are made that separate good designs from bad ones.
