Setting Menu Control Properties

The asp:menu control will not do you any good until you tell it what menu items to display. On ASP.NET sites, you can create a dynamic XML file to make the menu dynamic. In SharePoint, you can use either a list of items inside the control or the Site Map control.

In this exercise, you will launch the Menu Item Editor dialog box and add a few items inside the control to demonstrate the rich run-time experience of this control.
