Saving XML Data into a SharePoint List by Using Custom Form Actions

So far in this chapter, the workflows you have created all work against list data. However, SharePoint Designer also allows you to grab strings from inside a data view and insert that data into a list. This means that rather than creating a workflow based on list data, you can create a custom form action by using the Workflow Designer user interface.
