Yet I intuitively knew that a large global organization, which was
growing at a fast clip through mergers and acquisitions, in a highly
competitive industry requiring quick action and product innovation,
needed a better, faster, smarter way to manage tacit knowledge and
connect people to expertise. How did I know? e mission of the
KM program was to connect people to the knowledge and people
