Every manager carries around in his, or her, head a set of biases, assumptions, and presuppositions.
All the strategies designed to get breakthrough results will flounder when faced with a strongly held limiting mindset. A limiting mindset can stifle and overcome any of the other actions to stimulate behavior to get breakthrough results. It can be the rock against which all these efforts flounder.
Limiting mindsets form the walls of the box of incrementalism. Without changing the mindset it’s impossible to break out of the box.
