Chapter 4. Using PowerPivot in Excel 2013

Microsoft Excel is a powerful spreadsheet and data analysis application, with hundreds of capabilities that can help you to organize and make sense of the data and numbers in your life. In this Excel release, a lot has been done to both improve the experience and empower the user when employing it as a business intelligence (BI) tool; for instance, PowerPivot, which was introduced as an add-in for Excel 2010 and now is a native feature in Excel 2013. Among the many self-service BI features, this chapter will focus on the Excel Data Model feature and the PowerPivot in Excel native add-in.
