Abstract

Business executives, managers, and analysts have wrestled for decades with the challenge of determining how best to leverage data to improve business results. The umbrella term “business intelligence”—or “BI”—has long been used to describe business analysis techniques ranging from standard reports to highly sophisticated advanced statistics.
