Business Process Features to Automate

In the last chapter, we reviewed functional requirements with examples. We expanded these functional requirements into steps and analyzed them for potential automation. We visited a typical set of fields that make up a good functional specification document.

In this chapter, you will discuss why it is important to allocate enough time and prioritize requirements automation. Prioritizing does not mean bringing requirements to the top as they come in from business users, but rather distributing around different releases on the roadmap to add optimum value to the overall business.
