Scaling the Process Renewal Framework

The framework described generally in this chapter and in detail in Chapters 10 through 16 is comprehensive. From project to project, its use will vary, sometimes significantly. The framework is designed to scale for use on small or large projects. For small local initiatives that aim at improving a focused aspect of the business, you can omit some steps and cover others more extensively. For enterprise-wide initiatives, most of what’s described might be required, and some areas might need more in-depth analysis.
