Press Forward Even When the Road Ahead Is Not Clear

By now you should understand that tomorrow will bring change but that, with ancient Jewish wisdom as your guide, you will be able to face whatever comes. In Deuteronomy, chapter 28, there is a verse that reads: “And it shall come to pass that, if you harken to the voice of the Lord, your God, to observe and perform all His commandments that I command you this day then the Lord, your God, will bring all these blessings upon you, but only if you harken to the voice of the Lord, your God.” The Scripture then lists all of the rewards we can reap—prosperity, happiness, success, fulfillment, a life without want, a life without worry. But we are also given a warning of all of the bad things we will face if we do not follow the commandments, if we do not look to ancient Jewish wisdom, the unchanging principles of the world, to guide us. God tells us that we will face these things if we fail to serve Him in joy and jubilation in exchange for all the good that He has done us. This sense of excitement, happiness, positivity, and optimism are absolutely essential to facing the change that tomorrow brings in both business and life.

Let this knowledge buoy your spirit so that you may accept this truth: even though you may rely on those things that do not change to guide your way, they will not necessarily light your way.
