■ There is now a gallery of 48 combinations of color and effects. You can choose from the
Chart Styles gallery on the Design ribbon to quickly apply a color scheme to a chart. If
you don’t like the built-in colors, you can choose a new theme from the Page Layout
ribbon, or you can head to the Format ribbon to change the colors for each data series.
■ If you want micro-control over the shape, fill, outline, or effects of any chart element,
you can use the Format ribbon.
