Natalie Canavor is a business writer, communications consultant, and workshop leader. As a national magazine editor-in-chief, she was responsible for four start-ups. Subsequently she directed communications for a major educational agency and built a 12-person creative department.
Natalie has also worked in public relations, sales promotion, and nonprofit communication. Her byline has appeared frequently in the New York Times, Newsday, and a number of publications for businesspeople and communication professionals. She has won more than 100 national awards for her publication work and videos.
At each career stage, Natalie noticed that many people were losing opportunities and failing to meet their goals because of poor writing. She began developing workshops and courses to teach adults practical techniques for writing more powerfully and strategically. Ultimately, she taught advanced writing seminars for NYU’s Master’s Program in Professional Communications, and now helps colleges improve their business writing programs.
She continues her magazine work as editor of Impact, an award-winning magazine published for Israel’s Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
