Report scheduling and polling performance
The report generation requires some performance. Depending on the report type, size, and report generation settings, the scheduled report generation can have a negative impact on the polling time when being run by the poller.
Using the poller mode is fine for relatively small reports, but should be avoided when running large reports.
In order to reduce the performance impact of report generation, the CereusReporting plugin provides the ability to run the report generation as a cron job.
