Earlier chapters discuss major ways to customize your camera, such as changing the data displayed during picture playback and adjusting what gets displayed in the viewfinder. This chapter details ten customization options that aren’t quite as critical but may come in handy on occasion.

Changing the Furniture Around

If you like, you can change the function of the Set button, shutter button, AE Lock button, AF-ON button, and a host of other controls when shooting in the P, Tv, Av, M, B, C1, or C2 exposure modes.

Warning Please don’t take advantage of these options, though, until you’re thoroughly familiar with how the camera works using the original function settings. If you modify a control, it’s not going to behave the way our instructions in the book indicate that it should.
