Get Shooting with the Automatic Camera Modes
Although quite advanced compared to other cameras, the G12 is still a point-and-shoot camera at heart. Canon created several modes tailored to common types of photos, such as portraits, landscapes, low-light situations, and moving subjects. The cameras also include specialized modes to shoot fireworks, snow scenes, and even underwater and aquarium photos.
