In astrophotography, a measure of success is how well we overcome setback and failure!
The past few chapters have concentrated on PC-controlled (robotic) imaging. Astrophotography is not a plug’n’play hobby. If the physics of capturing a few photons every minute were not enough of a challenge, the diversity of individual setups and the unforgiving nature of astrophotography place additional random obstacles in one’s path. With the introduction of computers and software, problems pop up at the most unexpected moments and are not always easy to diagnose correctly.
