Focus: Bringing Forward the Power of the Mind’s Eye
On September 18, 2007, Randy Pausch, professor of computer science and human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University, delivered “The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.”1 In his presentation, Randy told the audience of 400 people that he was dying of pancreatic cancer and had only a matter of months to live. He was 47 years old, married to the woman of his dreams and the father of three young children.
