Marketing Your Professional Strengths
Don't think once you have achieved the position you've been preparing for in training, HRD, or workplace learning and performance that you've passed the final stop in your professional journey. It's not true. Future personal passages, life events, or work situations, as well as the continuing evolution of the field, will affect you and your work in ways you can't predict. There is no way to know how any of those circumstances will alter your professional needs, interests, and goals in three, five, or ten years.
