The Space: Choosing and Setting Up the Room, Outdoor Areas or Tents

Choosing the Room

First, a suitable event room must be selected in which to hold the affair. There are a number of things to consider when making this decision. The major factors are the appearance, location, utilities, and amount of floor space.

The dimensions of the room, the ceiling height, the number of columns, exits, and entrances, the proximity, number, and quality of restroom facilities, the colors and types of floor and wall coverings, sound insulation, and lighting are all critical considerations.

The overall appearance of the room is important. Consider the following features of a room:
