VLAN Trunking Configuration and Verification
So far, we have discussed configuring a single switch with multiple VLANs. The next step is to see how we can extend a single or multiple VLANs between multiple switches using VLAN trunking. Trunking configuration between two Cisco switches can be very simple if you just statically configure trunking. NX-OS trunking requires only some straightforward configuration. Because Cisco Nexus switches support only the more modern trunking option (802.1Q), NX-OS does not need a configuration command to define the type of trunking.
