Important CLI Commands

In NX-OS all CLI commands are organized hierarchically. The commands that perform similar functions are grouped together at the same level. For example, all the commands that display system, configuration, or hardware information are grouped under the show command, and all commands that are used to configure the switch are grouped under the configure terminal command. If you would like to use a command, you first must enter into the group hierarchy and then type the command.
