Advanced UCS Management
Under this section you are briefly introduced to the programmatic nature of the Cisco UCS Manager. We discuss two methods of accessing the Cisco UCS Manager via its XML APIs, programmatically. As examples in this section, you will see the XML code that creates a VLAN in the LAN tab, LAN cloud under object VLANs, and obtaining an inventory via the goUCS automation toolkit. Then, you will see how a backup operation is invoked programmatically via the Python SDK method.
