Collection and Threshold Policies
A collection policy in Cisco UCS Manager defines the frequency of statistic collection (collection interval) and how frequently they must be reported (reporting interval). Ideally, you want a larger reporting interval than a collection interval, thereby allowing multiple data points to be reported and giving the Cisco UCS Manager the ability to report minimum, maximum, and average values.
