The ASDM is the most common method for administering the ASA after the initial device provisioning. Everything that can be done using the CLI can be achieved with the ASDM.
During the device provisioning, ensure you enable the HTTP server and allow your client machine/network to access the ASA via the web browser.
Let's take a look at modifying the existing configurations using the ASDM: on the ASDM, click Wizards | Startup Wizard.
