Overview
SONAR XL is an integrated MIDI + Audio software package with full support for DirectX audio plug-ins, DXi software synthesizers and MFX MIDI plug-ins. It also supports MIDI Machine Control of external equipment. The multi-channel recording features allow you to apply a range of effects including reverb, EQ and delays as track inserts, in effects loops, or to the master mix. SONAR supports the 44.1 kHz sampling rate to suit CD production and offers various higher and lower sample rates as alternatives. The internal audio effects use 32-bit floating-point processing to maintain quality.
