Introduction

The WaveLab Audio Editing Suite is Steinberg’s extremely capable and versatile stereo waveform editor. This waveform editor is packed with features that make editing ‘a breeze’. WaveLab has good looping features and makes a good choice if you need to work with external samplers. A wide selection of plug-ins is available, with many more available from third parties. You can use WaveLab to create test tones and use WaveLab’s analysis tools to diagnose problems with audio systems and components. The Audio Montage window provides additional multi-track features that you may need when preparing audio for CD, and WaveLab also incorporates advanced CD-burning features.
