DEVELOPMENT IS ABOUT ensuring continuous learning and growth—both in yourself and in your organization. In Chapter 5, we defined development at the individual level as “the act or process of growing, progressing, or developing.”1 While this broad definition also applies to organizations, change leaders must embrace and focus on coordinating the development of individuals, teams, and the organization as an integrated system.
